Christmas is Over

So Christmas has ended. I really had a good time. Carly is in town, so I spent it with her Aunt and Uncle. Carly and I are such losers, we bought our own gifts and then wrapped them, saying they were from each other. haha. At least I got what I wanted! Tonight is my family dinner, with gift exchange. I got a ton of gift cards to Target. Woot. In less than one month I turn 21. I can't wait, life will be so much easier. Not sure what I want to do the night of my b day, thinking dinner and a show. Then at some point I am going skydiving!! I am so freaking excited. I think Clayton(Erins boyfriend) is coming with me, so that will be nice to have someone I know doing it with me. I am also going to get my sand dollar tattoo in January. I figure since I have missed placed the sand dollars my grandma got me, I should get the tattoo even more. And ironic enough, I'm going to be using the money I get for my birthday from my grandpa(My grandma who I'm getting the tattoo for, who passed away, husband.) Not sure if that made since at all!! I have decided that my New Years resolution will to start writing on here or in a journal every day. Also to start working out, which really never happens.

Shows

Went and saw The Steps lastnight, pretty good show. The bass player went to high school with me, so I am always up for supporting alumni. Mag's afterwards. Yum. Went with Eliza. Fun time! Carly comes in like a week and a half. I can't wait. It's going to be so much fun. I miss her so much and miss having good friends around. There are a ton of good shows coming up. Cna't wait. The XX and Friendly Fire are playing next week at Mohawks. Sweet. Hmmm... nothing else.

Many days have passed....

So it's been over a month since I last wrote. ahhh. Not much has changed, I still hate my job and my dogs still pee everywhere. ha. I just got over Swine Flu, which was super fun. My roommate Erin has a new boyfriend who is 18 years older than her and I am having a hard time with it. She is my bestfriend here in Austin, so its hard knowing I have to share her with someone. She doesn't have girl friends, so she hasn't yet learned how to balance a boyfriend with a girlfriend. Guys don't have the emotional attachment that girls do. We hung out this weekend which was really nice. We'll see how it goes. Hopefully it gets better. On a better note, and in perfect timing, we are getting a new roommate! Crystal is moving with her boyfriend, which I am excited for her, but with miss her. Eliza is our new roommate, who is moving in this coming week. I'm super excited, she seems like a great, relaxed girl. I can't wait. I know Tyler is having a hard time with Crystal moving out, since she really looks up to Crystal! Carly is coming in a month, can't wait. I am so thrilled and excited to see her. Hopefully I will get in the groove of writing more, even if no one is reading this!!

Been trying to find new and sweet music, here is a really great band. I have been lately really into this yummy undergroundish hip-hop stuff. Its just some great stuff. Pac Div is pretty cool.

Weeks go By

It's been a bit of time since the latest post. I need to start writing more often. Made plans to go to Lubbock in a couple of weeks. Yayy. It feels like I haven't seen Carly in so long. I miss her so much. Erin and I stayed up way to late last night taking pictures. It started off by us being really bored and poor. Not wanting to go out, so we figured we should just take pictures. Well 5 hours of pictures. Ha. Some actually turned out really well. I have realized that Erin is the more whimsical in her look and posing, and I am a little more "street", hardcore? She just looks softer in the pictures than I do. I had a ton of fun though. My dad has been really trying to be a "father" and in doing so gave me $100. SWEET DUDE. Can't complain about that. I have also decided that I shall call everyone, sugar, scooter, little one, or sweetie. I am really enjoying calling people scooter. I figure I need to get another dachshund and name him Scooter or my son. :) Here are pictures!

Today and Dogs

Had a yucky night lastnight with my roommates, which is never a good thing. Its getting better, but we are dealing with it tonight. I'm babysitting tonight, so hopefully that will go well. It has now been a million days since not having my iPhone. Ugh I am ready to have it back. Went to work, and realized that the ideas I am always giving my boss for the store never get recongized, until her son tells her the same idea. Oh well. My puppy dogs are sleeping. I love them so much. They are what keep me going some days. They are my kids and are so spoiled. Here is a picture of them!

Musica

Groupo Fantasma was amazing last night. The way the many members all played in tune together was breath taking. I went with my roommate and wasn't sure how much I would like them. I don't speak any Spanish but the show was so wonderful. Tonight is another amazing band, well a singer. Bob Schneider is playing at Lakeway Resort and a whole bunch of us are going. I can't wait. He is really great. The Lakeway Resort is awesome, it has three pools that you stand in while listening to the music. Last month was one of my all time favorite bands, Nelo. Next month is the last month :( I am feeling much better and have forced myself to take some kind of meds, haha cough drops!

Sick

So I have been sick with something for a couple of days now, never fun. I don't want to take any meds, so I'll suffer a bit longer. I miss my best friend Carly, I can't wait to see her hopefully soon. Got Henna Thursday night, it's looking great. Maybe a picture to follow. I'm wear my awesome heat sensitive shirt from American Appeal today. Its pretty exciting and entertaining. Every time a cough on my sleeve, it turns white. How could a shirt be any cooler. I need them in every color. Ps. thanks Erin for the shirt. Hopefully whatever fungus that is taking over my body will depart soon. Bob Schneider is playing tomorrow out at Lakeway Resort, that should be fun and hopefully I'm not a blubbering mess.

Erin is the best roommate ever. It has been so fun. I bought her flowers and she bought me flowers. Yayy. She is GREAT.

First Post

Been thinking a lot about where my life is going. I have become unhappy with my job and am ready for a change after a year of working here. I also have been thinking of changing my major to something more practical, but anything other than fashion I'd be bored at, so I have a delima. I have always been told to do what I love, but its hard. With a Fashion Merchandising career, I would never have free time, especially if I got a good job. So having a family would be put on hold. Which I'm not really wanting to do. Anyways, life is always changing and I am happy to have the friends and family that I do. I can't complain too much. :)
