Geeze I'm bad at this

I always say that I need to remember to write everyday, well that obviously isn't happening, but this time I'm really going to try to write everyday or at least a couple times a week. So lets see, what's new Emily? Hmmm....

My coworker and I had planed on moving to Portland in August, but she decided not to, and I didn't want to move up there by myself, so now we are getting a town house off of South Lamar together. Should move in this week. Really excited. I'm in love with myself, so the whole dating thing hasn't been working out so well. I'm just to selfish. I personally see nothing wrong with being picky. You know what I'm okay with growing old alone, I'll have some land and live on it with my hundreds of dachshunds. I'd honestly be content with that. Sasha and Charlotte are doing well, I'm pretty sure they are excited for the move. I went skydiving a couple weeks ago. It was such an amazing experience. Going up in the plane as well as jumping was the most relaxed I've ever been. It was so calming. An experience that is hard to explain.

New Stuff!

Finally getting a chance to update this little thing. I finally got a new job. Yayy. I now work at Discount Electronics. Who would hire me for a computer store, idk. I'm doing pretty well actually. Learning quickly and taking it all in. We get pretty busy, but my boss is really proud of me. Which is a nice change from being yelled at every day. I work with some pretty cool people. Two girls, one who is pretty awesome. We will be friends!! AHHHHH I also got my tattoo. Finally. I'm so excited about it. It looks so awesome. Eliza also got two tattoos, which look so baller.

New Week

Carly left yesterday and I already miss her. She is hopefully coming up for my birthday at the end of this month. Then I should be going to see her in Lubbock at some point soon. I can't wait for my birthday. It will be so nice to turn 21. Work has been surprisingly not so bad! I have been thinking a lot about school and my major, as well as what I want to do with it. I have finally come up with what I want. At some point before I'm 30 I want to open a clothing store, that has a coffee shop in it, then at night I can have live music. I really think it would work super well here in Austin. Now I just need to get rich to be able to do it!!!

Christmas is Over

So Christmas has ended. I really had a good time. Carly is in town, so I spent it with her Aunt and Uncle. Carly and I are such losers, we bought our own gifts and then wrapped them, saying they were from each other. haha. At least I got what I wanted! Tonight is my family dinner, with gift exchange. I got a ton of gift cards to Target. Woot. In less than one month I turn 21. I can't wait, life will be so much easier. Not sure what I want to do the night of my b day, thinking dinner and a show. Then at some point I am going skydiving!! I am so freaking excited. I think Clayton(Erins boyfriend) is coming with me, so that will be nice to have someone I know doing it with me. I am also going to get my sand dollar tattoo in January. I figure since I have missed placed the sand dollars my grandma got me, I should get the tattoo even more. And ironic enough, I'm going to be using the money I get for my birthday from my grandpa(My grandma who I'm getting the tattoo for, who passed away, husband.) Not sure if that made since at all!! I have decided that my New Years resolution will to start writing on here or in a journal every day. Also to start working out, which really never happens.

Shows

Went and saw The Steps lastnight, pretty good show. The bass player went to high school with me, so I am always up for supporting alumni. Mag's afterwards. Yum. Went with Eliza. Fun time! Carly comes in like a week and a half. I can't wait. It's going to be so much fun. I miss her so much and miss having good friends around. There are a ton of good shows coming up. Cna't wait. The XX and Friendly Fire are playing next week at Mohawks. Sweet. Hmmm... nothing else.

Many days have passed....

So it's been over a month since I last wrote. ahhh. Not much has changed, I still hate my job and my dogs still pee everywhere. ha. I just got over Swine Flu, which was super fun. My roommate Erin has a new boyfriend who is 18 years older than her and I am having a hard time with it. She is my bestfriend here in Austin, so its hard knowing I have to share her with someone. She doesn't have girl friends, so she hasn't yet learned how to balance a boyfriend with a girlfriend. Guys don't have the emotional attachment that girls do. We hung out this weekend which was really nice. We'll see how it goes. Hopefully it gets better. On a better note, and in perfect timing, we are getting a new roommate! Crystal is moving with her boyfriend, which I am excited for her, but with miss her. Eliza is our new roommate, who is moving in this coming week. I'm super excited, she seems like a great, relaxed girl. I can't wait. I know Tyler is having a hard time with Crystal moving out, since she really looks up to Crystal! Carly is coming in a month, can't wait. I am so thrilled and excited to see her. Hopefully I will get in the groove of writing more, even if no one is reading this!!
